In 2020, Shuangxing New Material increased its investment in research and development after it set up a project for high-performance PET composite copper foil. It has successively overcome the requirements for the base material index of PET copper foil, the technology for controlling the precision density of magnetron sputtering, etc., making the company's PET copper foil base material and various indicators of magnetron sputtering products superior to international similar products. In order to realize the industrialized production of PET copper foil products more quickly, Shuangxing New Material signed a contract with Dongwei Technology, This enabled Shuangxing New Material to get through the "last mile" in the PET copper foil project. The main principals of Double Star New Materials and Dongwei Technology signed the Equipment Contract respectively on behalf of both parties in this signing, and entered the battery composite copper foil field to make the layout of Double Star New Materials industry more perfect. After completion, high-performance PET composite copper foil products will be gradually mass produced, which also lays a solid foundation for the realization of scale of Double Star New Materials composite copper foil project as soon as possible.
